↘ The CW75 index increased 1.02% for the week ended July 4, behind both the MSCI World Index, which was up 1.73%, and the S&P500, which increased 1.76%.
H.B. Fuller shares surged this week as the company announced two acquisitions in the medical adhesive and construction adhesive markets. The two acquisitions — Adhezio Biomedical and Xchem International —combined are expected to add $17 million to Fuller’s revenue and $2 million to the company’s adjusted EBITDA in fiscal 2023, with those figures rising to $60 million and $15 million, respectively, by fiscal 2025. H.B. Fuller, however, announced a weaker second quarter with income down 15.0% year over year due to lower volumes.
Shares in Covestro fell 5.1% during the week, coming down from its 52-week high, following Adnoc’s nearly $11 billion takeover bid.
