↘ The CW75 index decreased 0.74% during the week ended Nov. 5, a downturn week that was worse than the MSCI World Index, which was down 0.67%, but better than the S&P500, which was down 0.86%.
Chemours shares rose 8.69% following its third quarter earnings report that beat estimates by roughly 41%. Shares in Ingevity continued their climb from last week with a boost of 22.82%.
Shares in Celanese plummeted 28.28% following its third quarter earnings report that had net income and sales down 87% and 3% year over year, respectively.
On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the CW75 index is up 1.28%. This compares with a 16.77% YTD gain for the MSCI World Index, and a 21.11% increase for the S&P500.
